These are the booking rules for lessons with Mykal Storey. Review your session details before confirming.

Booking and payment

Choose a 30-minute or 60-minute lesson, format, and available time. The price and currency are shown before you confirm. When payment is collected separately, your lesson confirms immediately and you pay Mykal directly. If online payment is enabled, your time is held during checkout and confirms after payment. Check for Confirmed in My lessons.

Cancelling or moving a lesson

The cancellation notice period is shown before confirmation and saved with your booking. Before that deadline, you can cancel for a full refund or reschedule to another available time from My lessons. After the deadline, contact Mykal to discuss the situation. An automatic refund is not offered for late cancellation or a missed lesson.

If Mykal cancels a paid lesson, you are due a full refund. Payments collected separately are returned directly by Mykal, with the status recorded in the app. Online payments are refunded to the original payment method. Message Mykal if a refund needs attention.

Where and when

The calendar displays the studio’s time zone. Your booking summary and lesson list display the time zone selected in your profile. The studio address or private online meeting link appears with your confirmed lesson when configured, or Mykal shares it in Messages. A minimum 15-minute break separates lessons. For online lessons, arrange a reliable internet connection and a way for Mykal to see and hear your playing.

Student accounts

Use accurate contact information and keep your sign-in details private. A parent or guardian must manage the account for a student under 19 and give permission for their lessons. One student profile is supported per account.

Your progress

Mykal records completed lessons and may add notes and practice suggestions. Progress depends on your starting point, goals, and practice. There is no guaranteed result or timetable.
