Back to Mykal

Your information, in the studio.

Mykal uses this app to arrange drum lessons and support your learning. This page explains what the app stores and why.

What you share

Your account email, student name, optional phone number, time zone, intake answers, lesson bookings, practice entries, and messages are saved so Mykal can teach and communicate with you. If a student is under 19, their parent or guardian must manage the account and provide their name and email.

Who can see it

You can see your own profile, lessons, messages, and practice entries. Mykal can access student profiles, lesson records, and private teaching conversations. Other students cannot access these records. Studio addresses and online lesson links are shared with the student after a paid booking is confirmed.

The services behind the app

Clerk manages sign-in. Vercel hosts the app. Neon stores the app’s records. When connected, Stripe handles checkout and refunds. Full card numbers are not stored by this app. These providers may process information outside your province or country.

Your choices

You can update your profile and download your app data from My profile. To request a correction, account closure, or deletion of stored information, contact Mykal through Messages or his Instagram. Some transaction records may need to be retained for accounting or resolving a booking issue.

Browser storage

Sign-in uses cookies to keep your session working. Your light or dark appearance preference is saved on your device. The app does not include advertising trackers.

Keep messages useful and private

Use messages for lesson arrangements and learning. Please avoid sending payment card details, passwords, or information unrelated to lessons.
